Breitling introduced the Aerospace line in 1985. It was marketed to pilots and world travellers who needed multiple functionalities, all in ONE piece. The Breitling Aerospace Evo watch case is made of titanium and only weighs 3.5oz (99 grams). Additionally, the bracelet is just under 11mm thick. An 11mm case thickness makes it one of the thinnest men's watches on the market. (plus, is it comfortable).

The crown on this watch can be used to control all its functions. There is one complication in this watch: a slow twist and a quick twist.

The backlight is operated by making a slow turn of the crown while in timekeeping mode, but turning it too quickly can change watch settings instead of turning on the light.

Setting the countdown timer can also be tricky thus, it requires some getting used to.
